JAFRAL is Contract Manufacturing and Development Organization (CDMO) working with following biomolecules: bacteriophages, DNA and recombinant proteins. Majority of activity is focused on Development of manufacturing process, development of analytical methods, GMP production and non-GMP production. Products that have been produced, have been applied in various industries: human terapeutics, animal treatments, food industry, cosmetic and diagnostics.

JAFRAL has three main field of activities: process development, manufacturing and analytics. Each of these activity can be used for various molecules: bacterial viruses, DNA and recombinant proteins.
JAFRAL has 2 facilities and each of this facility has GMP certificicate for production of clinical trial material: biologics and advanced theraputical medicinal products.
Currently JAFRAL successufly produced clinical trialf materials that have been used in Europe, United States and Australia. This means tht it has been also reviewed by all various regulatory authorities: FDA, EMA and TGA.
JAFRAL helps it's partners to develop product from early development stages up to production of clinical trial mateiral.
JAFRAL has also capabilities to perform all required stability programs: real conditions and accelerated conditions.

Short content description
JAFRAL can be part of projects for production of biomolecules for various purposes: GMP and non-GMP applications.
The programme is co-financed by the Slovenian Enterprise Fund and the European Union, namely from the European Fund for Regional Development. It is carried out on the basis of the Substantial Support of Fund Recipients (SME) programme from 2018 to 2023 within the framework of the Operational Programme for the Implementation of European Cohesion Policy from 2014 to 2020.
