Slovenia, a thriving biopharma ecosystem

Biopharma Global Connect is an international biopharma Group. By connecting essential players nationally and internationally, we can offer assistance at every research and development step in biopharma drug development and therefore enable faster and more efficient development path from idea to the biopharma product, accessible to patients.

Currently BGC runs within COBIK with financial support of UNIDO and Slovenian Enterprise Fund. It also includes a Cuban member, BioCubaFarma Group. As first collaborations, currently we run 5 priority projects from different biopharma fields in Slovenia and Cuba.

The main goal is to implement a comprehensive ecosystem between Slovenia and Cuba, connecting SMEs, research organizations, regulatory agencies, big pharma, hospitals, financial mechanisms, investors in order to provide a platform for further international collaborations.

We aim to become a business environment, able to support every step in the biopharma drug development from idea to the clinics.
